July 6, 1947 ~ October 16, 2018 (age 71) 71 Years Old

Tribute

Raymond Antonio Archuleta, Sr. died October 16, 2018, in Stockton, California, surrounded by  his family.  He was 71.  Raymond was born July 6, 1947, to Antonio and Maria Archuleta in Oakland, California.
Ray retired from the ironworks field in 2011, having spent almost 50 years working as a welder, structural steel detailer and estimator.  He worked hard every day of his life to provide for his wife and seven children.  In his younger days, he wrestled and played football at Irvington High School in Fremont, California.  He met and married his high school sweetheart, Deborah, in 1966.  He served honorably with the US Air Force. He was a huge San Jose Sharks fan, but the thing that brought him the most joy was his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Deborah Archuleta of Tracy, California; children, Kenneth, Angela, Adina, Antonio, Raymond Jr, Erin and Amy; grandchildren, Isaac, Taylor, Parker, Morgan, Hailey, Emiley, Ethan, Sienna, Vincent, Callie and Isabelle; and great-granddaughter Violet.
A celebration of Ray’s life will be held Nov. 3 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Centerville Chapel in Fremont, California.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Fry Memorial Chapel in Tracy, California.
