Mary began working in 1995 for the FedEx Corporation in Pleasanton, CA before transferring to the Las Vegas Station (LASA) in 2007. Her FedEx family supported her during her Cancer battle and truly loved her. They all spoke highly of her and how she always baked for them during the holidays. Mary loved her route and was sad that she no could no longer keep it. Mary always put everyone first before herself. She had a great team of which she cherished and worked closely with. She will be truly missed by everyone. Mary would call her mom during lunch to talk with her cheerfulness never complaining of being tired. Mary loved to send pictures of decorated homes on her route for the holidays to her daughter and sister which would be used as inspiration when decorating her home with John. She appreciated the FedEx community especially during the holidays when they would have breakfast for them before their start of shift. FedEx was not only her job but was considered part of her family.

Mary was an avid fisherman as a child and as an adult. Mary loved the river, never having issues with the white caps or freezing temperatures. She had always out fished her father to this day. She would have her Dad bait her hook and remove the fish so she could hurry up and throw her line out. Mary also enjoyed her Zumba classes and watching her nephew Tyler’s baseball games. She loved attending Oakland Raider games with her best friend Sandra. Mary and Sandra were friends since Junior High and they kept the friendship active through all the years.

Mary and John would spend their time together watching her favorite sports teams play to include the Raiders, Giants, and Warriors; decorating the house of which she loved dearly; and enjoying new experiences such as her first snowboarding trip. During this trip, she was featured on the news while they shoveled snow to the back of the truck. Mary loved receiving flowers from John and would always take the opportunity to post them on Facebook. Mary was a huge fan of Johns cooking and would insist that he cook often.
