Frances passed peacefully while in hospice care on Wednesday March 4th 2020 in Stockton, California. She had been battling dementia for the past four to five years. She lived a long and loving life and will be remembered for her contagious laugh, her warm smile and her loving heart.
Frances was born on September 12th 1940 in Austin, Texas to Manuela and Chester Cordova. Frances and her family moved to Tracy when she was three years old. She attended schools in Tracy which included South Elementary school, Senior Elementary school (which later became Clover School) and she graduated from Tracy High School in 1959. Frances married Henry Campos on July 25th 1959. They went on to have four children and they made their home here in Tracy. Frances worked for O.P Anzaldo and associates as a receptionist and office manager for over 30 years and that’s where she retired from. She enjoyed her job and made many friends while working for Oscar.
Frances is survived by her husband of nearly sixty-one years Henry, her four children Elaine, Henry Jr (Dee Dees), Jennifer and Michael, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren with one more great-grandchild on the way.
Frances enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She looked forward to weekly Sunday dinners with her family. She was a faithful San Francisco Giants fan and enjoyed watching a good baseball game on TV. She also enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in sporting events and tried to never miss one of their games. Frances liked to take trips to the casinos especially in Lake Tahoe and Reno. She was known for participating in weekend bus trips to the casinos with family and close friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a mass followed by a Christian burial on Friday, March 13th. The mass begins at 11:00 am at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church followed by the burial at Tracy Cemetery where Frances will be laid to rest. Fry’s Memorial Chapel is handling all of the service arrangements.
