Charlotte Rae (Parker) Junqueiro passed away peacefully at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family on November 14, 2020 in Modesto, California. Charlotte was born on July 20, 1931, to the delight of her loving parents Raymond & Erma Parker in Stockton, California. She grew up in Tracy, California, and graduated from Tracy High School in 1950.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70 years, Arthur S. Junqueiro and her parents, Raymond and Erma Parker. Charlotte is survived by her children Debbie (Don) Cavagnaro, Steven (Theresa) Junqueiro, Ray Junqueiro (Gail) and Jon (Rosie) Junqueiro and her grandchildren Devon Homme, Steven Junqueiro, Jr., Deann Walsh, Raechel Junqueiro, Natalie Junqueiro Machado, Sarah Butler, Christina Junqueiro, Seth Junqueiro, Sabrina Junqueiro, Grant Junqueiro and 12 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was the only child of Raymond & Erma Parker and descendant of the Tracy pioneer Parker family. She was actively involved in the St. Bernard’s School Mother’s Guild and a member of the St. Bernard’s Parish.
Charlotte was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and friends and enjoyed traveling, camping and being in Lake Tahoe with her family.
If you would like to join us in celebrating Charlotte’s life, services begin with visitation at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary Vigil at 7:00 p.m. *which will be livestreamed, click the link below* at Fry Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 550 South Central Ave., Tracy, California. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated outside at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard's Holy Family Center on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 12100 W. Valpico Road., Tracy, California, immediately followed by a burial service at the Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Shulte Rd., Tracy, California.
Remembrance contributions may be sent to City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Building & Maintenance Fund or a charity dear to your heart.
