Daniel Gonzalez Trevino

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 1, 2017 for longtime Tracy resident Daniel G. Trevino who passed away in Modesto, CA.

Born in Mercedes, TX and lived in Tracy, CA  for 70 years. Daniel worked for Trevino Trucking, Campbell Soup, and worked for Yandell Trucking for over 40 years upon Retiring at the age of 72. He and his wife Celia (Sally) Helen made their home in Tracy with their children and lived a beautiful life of 53 years of marriage. He served in the Korean War and was in Germany for 2 years and a reserve for 10 years. He was so very proud to serve in the Military and shared many stories. He loved his family with all of his heart and he was very strong in the Catholic faith of St. Bernards Catholic Church. Many frequent visits were made to the Shrine of St. Jude in San Francisco. He loved his sports!  He was a faithful San Francisco 49er season ticket holder for several years, and an avid San Francisco Giants fan who attended many games with his wife and children, he never missed a Warriors game and enjoyed watching them play. He will be missed by all who knew him for his phenomenal personality, smile, gorgeous green eyes, and most of all his love for his family and friends. 

Daniel had 5 children and many grandchildren: Daniel Trevino Jr. and spouse Vicky of Manteca, David Trevino of Sacramento, Dean Trevino and Angel Wallace of Tracy, Michelle (Trevino) O'Neill and husband Paul O'Neill of Tracy,  Danette Epinoza of Fresno,  Sibling:  Ernest and wife Jennie Trevino of Riverside.
 He had many grandchildren and great grandchildren: Kristen Elena O'Neill Tracy, Danyelle and Gregory Trevino of Tracy,  Joe and Denae Lynn Trevino Pruner 2 great grandchildren Cecelia and Delilah of Sacramento,  David Trevino of Sacramento, Andrew and Louis Kennedy 2 great grandchildren Layla and Orion of Manteca,  Sylvia Dela Fuentes of Long Beach, Jesse Figueroa great grand children Christopher, Carmelo, Joaquin of Modesto, Freddie Espinoza great grandchild Freddie, Azalea great granddaughter of Fresno, C Brandon Espinoza great grandaughter Syanne, Tina Rodrigues great grandchildren, Emilio, Tatiana, Thalia of Madera.  

A special thank you to the Tracy Skilled Nursing Home and all staff, Sutter Hospital, Vibrant Care, Central Valley Specialty Hospital of Modesto, and all of the Dr's and specialists of Tracy who cared for our father,  specifically Dr. Patel and Dr. Grewal who cared for our father for so many years.

Friday December 1, 2017 the Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel  550 S. Central Ave. followed by a Mass at St. Bernard's Catholic Church 163 E. Eaton Ave. at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Daniel G. Trevino's name to the American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association. The family also request Masses or donations to be dedicated to Daniel G. Trevino at St. Bernards Catholic Church or St. Dominics Catholic Church (Shrine of St. Jude) San Francisco, CA.
